Office of University Relations
The Office of University Relations builds and strengthens relationships with all members of the Southwestern University community.
Comprising the Offices of Alumni and Parent Relations, Development, Advancement Services, Stewardship, and University Events, and the Center for Career & Professional Development, the Office of University Relations serves to establish and foster relationships with and among the many stakeholders in Southwestern University, including alumni, parents, friends of the University, foundations, community and corporate partners, faculty, and staff, as well as the Board of Trustees and the Board of Visitors. Our staff cultivate these relationships through campus and off-campus events, volunteer programs, donor appreciation events, and fundraising activities such as annual, major, and planned gifts. By engaging members of the Southwestern community in the life of the institution and assisting donors with their philanthropic goals, University Relations helps maintain the history and traditions of the first institution of higher education in Texas while supporting the advancement of the University for the future.
