SUMMER PROGRAMS
There are many summer research programs at universities around the country. Most application deadlines are in Feb - Mar, so start looking in January!

INTERNSHIPS
Visit the Office of Career Services for more information. (acturial: Watson Wyatt)

Application advice: Your personal statement is the most important document in your application!!!! Have people read it before sending it off (maybe take it to the Debby Ellis writing center). The next most important documents are the letters of recommendation. If you want a good one, give the professor a copy of your personal statement (even in rough form), an informal resume (listing clubs you are involved in, your GPA, etc.), and any other helpful information.
