Pete SessionsPete Sessions has represented the Texas’s 32nd Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives since 1997. He serves as chairman of the House Rules Committee. During the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, he chaired the National Republican Congressional Committee. Prior to entering public service, Congressman Sessions worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 16 years, holding positions in research and marketing. He currently serves as an advisor to the president of Special Olympics Texas and is a member of the executive board of the Circle Ten Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Congressman Sessions has received a number of national awards for his work on Capitol Hill, including the Spirit of Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Heroes of Main Street Award from the National Retail Federation, the Thomas Jefferson Award from the International Foodservice Distributors Association, the National Distinguished Achievement Award from Pi Kappa Alpha, and the National Distinguished Eagle Scout Award.

Pete graduated from Southwestern with a degree in political science in 1978. While at Southwestern, Pete join the Alpha Omicron chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha and is a proud member of Pi Kappa Alpha to this day.
