Larry HaynesLarry Haynes is a retired partner at Ernst & Young where he served as a tax consultant to high-growth private and public companies for over 30 years. During his tenure, he led several Ernst & Young regional practices, including entrepreneurial services, emerging and growth markets, business development, and strategic growth markets. At the time of his retirement, he also served as the Americas director of the Entrepreneur-of-the-Year awards. Since retiring from Ernst & Young, Mr. Haynes has worked as a marketing and strategic consultant to professional and financial services firms. He also previously served as a director of Goodman Networks, a wireless infrastructure and services company, and is active in many civic organizations, including service on the board and investment committees of the Baylor Oral Health Foundation, as a director and audit chair of the Texas Methodist Foundation, as a member of the Dallas Assembly, and as a life member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas

After graduating with an honors degree in economics from Southwestern in 1972, Larry attended the U. S. Army’s Officers Candidate School and was commissioned as an officer and stationed in Europe where he served as the chief of economic and systems analysis for the army’s European signal command. He earned a master’s in professional accounting with a concentration in taxation, with honors, at The University of Texas at Austin in 1978, and he was named a distinguished alumnus of Southwestern University in 2003.
