Gerald is a Second Year at Southwestern University and is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Data Science. Last year, Gerald served as Freshman Representative in the General Assembly, and was a member of the external Campus Improvements & Space Utilization Committee; as well as, the internal Finance and Diversity Committees. As the SGA parliamentarian, Gerald chairs the Elections Committee, proposes amendments to the constitution, can draft legislation for the General Assembly, and can help with procedures during meetings. Other involvement he has on campus includes being the President of SU Golden Pirates, President of the College Republicans, Assistant Editor-in-Chief of The Megaphone, a Research Assistant in the Political Science Department to Dr. Sydnor, and membership and participation in the Catholic Student Association, Pre-Law Society, SU Tabletop, Tuesday Night Worship, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Band, Jazz, and Wind Ensemble. In his free time, Gerald enjoys playing the Trumpet at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, participating in virtual mock government, playing Dungeons and Dragons and video games, reading and writing, following current events, learning more about parliamentary procedures, and spending time with friends and family.
