Kristi completed the Southwestern University Center for Career & Professional Development team in May 2023, but is no stranger to higher education. She began her journey as an orientation leader while pursuing her Human Resource Management degree at Tarleton State University. After finding her passion for making a positive impact on college students, she then went on to work in Housing & Residence Life while pursuing a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration at her alma mater. After finishing her degree in May of 2020 at the peak of Covid, Kristi continued her H&RL career at Texas Tech University for the next three years, where she met her future husband. Now in this office, Kristi is excited to encourage the student population to follow their passions into a career like she did years ago. In her free time, she enjoys discovering local coffee shops and bookstores.
