Emily joined the Southwestern staff in January 2023 and has worked with college students on career development since 2012. She has previously served at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Texas A&M University-Central Texas, and Baylor University and has been living in Central Texas for the past 15 years. Emily earned her BA in Political Science and MSEd in Higher Education & Student Affairs from Baylor University. Previously, Emily has been a member of NACE, SoACE, and CTLACC. She is passionate about helping college students find work that they love and especially enjoys working with liberal arts students on highlighting their transferable skills. During her free time Emily likes to spend time with her husband, James, and kids, Andrew and Claire, watch sports, cook, work out, and read.
