Established in 2014 by Margaret S. Odiorne in memory of her husband, Dr. Truman J Odiorne, who graduated from Southwestern in 1966 with a B.S. in Chemistry and whose desire was to establish, in his family name, a permanent scholarship fund for students from the Texas Hill Country who demonstrate financial need.
