Established in 2014 by Dr. Uta C. Merzbach in memory of her parents, Dr. Ludwig Herman Merzbach and Dr. Margaret Kober Merzbach, to advance scholarship and research through the purchase and maintenance of books, maps, electronic resources, recordings, subscriptions, and special collections in Economics, Mathematics, Music, French and German. The tangible acquisitions shall become part of the A. Frank Smith, Jr. Library Center collection.
