Tom Pace Tom Pace is Senior Pastor of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Houston.  Prior to his appointment to St. Luke’s in 2006, Dr. Pace served as Senior Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Sugar Land.  He was the founding pastor of Bay Harbour United Methodist Church in Clear Lake and also has served as pastor of Faith United Methodist Church in South Houston and as an associate pastor at St. Luke’s.

Dr. Pace is actively involved in the community.  He is a member of the senior board of Interfaith Ministries of Houston.  He also is a member of the board of directors of Houston Methodist Hospital, serving on the board’s Finance and Spiritual Care Committees.  He is on the Advisory Council of Amazing Place Houston, a trustee of Goodwill Industries of Houston, and a member of the board of advisors of Connect Community.  

Tom received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University in 1978, a Master of Divinity degree from the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 1982, and a doctor of ministry degree from Drew University in 2001.  Tom has deep Southwestern roots.  One of his daughters, both of his parents, and one of his uncles graduated from Southwestern, and his parents were the first couple to be married in Southwestern’s Lois Perkins Chapel.
