Elizabeth Yeager is a community and civic leader with particular interest in education and the arts. She is president of the Wichita Falls Independent School District Board of Trustees, secretary of the Perkins-Prothro Foundation, and president of the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra, where she has served as a director since 1997. She was a founding director of the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, and a member of the founding council of the Midwestern State University Lifelong Learning Center. From 1986 to 1995, she was a senior manager with Accenture.

Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude in mathematical physics in 1984 from Sweet Briar College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986. Prior to being elected a Southwestern trustee, Elizabeth was a member of Southwestern’s board of visitors and the Parent Leadership Council. Her daughter is a 2017 graduate of Southwestern.
