Miguel Zorilla Miguel Zorrilla is a managing director and international wealth advisor in Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management group. An experienced financial professional licensed both as a broker and as an investment advisor, Mr. Zorrilla joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 as an executive director in the firm’s Geneva, Switzerland office. Prior to his employment at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Zorrilla was employed by Goldman Sachs in Houston, Zurich, and Geneva for nine years.

Before beginning his career in finance, Mr. Zorrilla was an elementary school teacher in San Antonio’s inner city.  He then served as the chief of staff to the Secretary of Administration of Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History.

Miguel graduated from Southwestern with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1992. He earned a master’s degree in education, magna cum laude, from Trinity University in 1994 and a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University in 1997. While at Southwestern, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha, the Student Foundation, and the tennis team. From 2020 to 2022 Miguel served as the President of the Association of Southwestern University Alumni. Prior to his election as a trustee, he served on Southwestern’s development committee and on its board of visitors.
