Miguel J. Zorrilla ’92
Miguel Zorrilla is the managing director of Morgan Stanley’s Austin office. An experienced financial professional licensed both as a broker and as an investment advisor, Mr. Zorrilla joined Morgan Stanley in 2007 as an executive director in the firm’s Geneva, Switzerland, office. Prior to his employment at Morgan Stanley, Mr. Zorrilla was employed by Goldman Sachs in Geneva for nine years. He recently co-founded an aquaponics business, combining aquaculture and hydroponics, designed to provide produce to restaurants.
Miguel graduated from Southwestern with a bachelor’s degree in communications in 1992 and received his master’s degree from Trinity University in 1994. While at Southwestern, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. Prior to his election to as a trustee, he served on Southwestern’s development committee and on its board of visitors. Currently Miguel is the President-Elect of the Association of Southwestern University Alumni.
