Luz Valenzuela Zamora is a Mexican-American from Austin, Texas. She is a senior at Southwestern University where she majors in vocal performance and studies opera.  In her free time she writes country music, plays piano, and guitar. She aspires to work in the music industry as a performing artist. Luz has a passion for social justice that was instilled in her by her activist parents. She has done solo performances in various protests and rallies, such as the Save Our School Rally at the Texas State Capitol. She is currently a member of the service sorority Kappa Delta Chi and is passionate about inclusivity on the Southwestern campus.
