Tisha Korkuś has been involved in International Education for over ten years.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Trinity University and a Master of Arts in International Education from the School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute.  She studied abroad in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina for a year in high school and at the Universidad de Costa Rica for a semester in college.  Tisha has also traveled extensively to evaluate study abroad programs.  Her master’s thesis looked at the connection between food and cultural knowledge/insights for students studying abroad in Italy.  She actively participates in the International Education association, NAFSA, and previously taught a course preparing students for cultural adjustments in study abroad.  She is passionate about experiential learning and cultural exchange, and making sure that students are fully supported throughout the process.
