After graduating from Southwestern, Niki left to pursue a PhD at the University at Buffalo in NY. While studying primate behavior, she fell in love with the process of grant writing and added several notable grantors to her CV, such as Fulbright and National Science Foundation. Southwestern’s focus on individual experiences and undergraduate research set her on the path to achieving the success she has so far.
Her position at Southwestern allows her to combine her passion for research, education, and writing to enhance the undergraduate experience. She will be working directly with faculty to identify potential external funding opportunities to support their scholarly, creative, and pedagogical activities. Niki graduated from Southwestern in ’08 with a degree in Animal Behavior, from the University at Buffalo (UB) in ’12 with a Masters in Anthropology, and is currently ABD at UB with a completion date of June 2017.
