Lauren Light joined the University Relations staff in August of 2016 as Associate Director of Annual Giving. Lauren’s focus includes Southwestern’s phonathon program, engaging with Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD), reunion and class giving, as well as helping with the Student Philanthropy Council (SPC).

Previously, Lauren served as Annual Fund Coordinator at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she managed the coordination and implementation of annual fund solicitations, including phone, mail, online and events. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication from Tarleton State University, with emphasis on public relations and event management and a double minor in technical writing and marketing. She is currently completing her Master in Public Administration degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.
