Daniel came to Southwestern as Director of Career Services in August 2013. In addition to leading the office, Daniel helps students with career advising and builds connections with employers. He earned a Master of Education and BS in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. After a very brief stint as a 5th grade teacher, Daniel has spent the rest of his career helping students with career development, including 22 years at the Texas A& M Career Center and five years as Associate Director of the Career Center at Abilene Christian University. Daniel and his wife, Cathie, have two grown daughters and three grandchildren who live in Lima, Peru. Daniel also enjoys his Australian shepherd and playing golf.
