Director of Development
Audra Pineda Strubbe
Audra joined Southwestern’s University Relations staff in October 2017. As Director of Development - Major Gifts at Southwestern, Audra works with alumni and friends to reconnect and engage them with campus, students, and faculty, while also finding meaningful ways for them to support Southwestern’s mission and give back to the University that has given so much to them.
Prior to Southwestern, Audra was a member of the Major Gifts Team at the University of Texas at Austin, working with alumni in Dallas, Central Texas, San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and Mexico City. During her 8 years at UT, she was fortunate to help launch the University’s International Outreach Efforts; help coordinate a delegation of almost 50 University leaders, faculty, and staff to Mexico City; and was part of the University’s successful, historic $3 billion fundraising campaign.
Audra received her B.A. in Archeology & Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, she is involved with the Texas Exes Hispanic Alumni Network, which provides scholarships to Hispanic students and Con mi Madre, a local non-profit that provides assistance and resources to Latina mothers/daughters to ensure preparedness, participation, and success in post-secondary education. Audra and her husband Tom live in Round Rock, TX, and enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors, socializing with family and friends, and sharing their home with their two dogs Lani and Charlie.
