Scott M. Neal ’84
Scott Neal is a retired energy trader whose career included positions at Meridian Oil, Burlington Resources, and Enron in natural gas, and power trading, natural gas marketing, and intrastate pipeline commercial management. He is also a former partner of Enchanted Rock, Ltd., a leader in the distributed power generation and microgrid business. After graduating from college, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club and played four seasons in the minor leagues.
Scott graduated with a business administration degree in finance from Southwestern in 1984, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta and a four-year baseball letterman. He was named to the NAIA All-American baseball team in 1984 and was inducted into the Southwestern Hall of Fame in 2004. Prior to his election as a trustee, Scott served on Southwestern’s board of visitors.
