Elizabeth YeagerElizabeth Yeager, the secretary of the board of directors of the Perkins–Prothro Foundation, is a community and civic leader with particular interest in education and the arts.  She is an elected trustee of the Wichita Falls Independent School District and previously served the district as a member of its Community Facilities Action Team and as vice president of its foundation.  She was a member of the City of Wichita Falls Arts Commission from 2001–2009, serving as its chair from 2006–2009, is the founding director of the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, and has been a director of the Wichita Falls Symphony Orchestra since 1997 and served as its president from 2006–2010.  Also interested in health care, Ms. Yeager has been a member of the boards of both the Cook Children’s Health Care System and the Cook Children’s Health Foundation.

From 1986 to 1995 Ms. Yeager was a senior manager with Accenture.  Her responsibilities included issue resolution and quality assurance, staff development and recruiting, performance evaluations, proposal development, preparation and implementation of work plans, and practice development.

Elizabeth graduated summa cum laude in mathematical physics in 1984 from Sweet Briar College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and she earned an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin in 1986.  Prior to being elected a Southwestern trustee, Elizabeth was a member of Southwestern’s board of visitors.  Elizabeth also is a member of Southwestern’s Parents Leadership Gift Council.
