Brian JacksonBrian Jackson is currently Google’s Head of Industry for financial services, specializing in marketing and advertising partnerships with US-based national and regional retail banks and insurance companies.  Before joining Google, Mr. Jackson was a senior strategist for YouTube, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Google, and worked with companies across the tech and retail sectors on online video and brand strategy.  Mr. Jackson joined Google from a 10-year career at NBC Universal in New York, where he led international sales for CNBC and pricing and sales strategy for the NBC and MSNBC news divisions.  He has held marketing and communications positions for The World Bank in Washington, DC, and was a researcher in Internet and telecommunications convergence at MIT and Tufts University.

Brian graduated with honors with a degree in international studies in 1995 from Southwestern, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Chi honor society, and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega.  He holds a master’s degree in international relations and business from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts.  Brian is a member of the Association of Southwestern University Alumni, a class agent, and a member of Southwestern’s LGBTA alumni connection group.
