Kate Nelson’s work explores the complexities of relationships; capturing the moment of interaction, the implied unsaid and reaction of communication.

She has been selected to exhibit her work at the 4th Biennial Central Time Ceramics at the Heuser Art Gallery & Hartmann Center Gallery at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. The exhibited pieces are selected for their technical expertise and experimentation, the exhibit runs from February 27 through March 28, 2014.

She has also been chosen for a solo exhibition and lecture at Pittsburg State University, entitled, it was a small country everyone was famous, at the Porter Hall University Gallery in Pittsburg, Kansas. The exhibition runs from March 27-May 2, 2014 with a lecture and reception on March 27th.
