Prior to Southwestern, Larkin worked in a similar capacity at Austin College, where she helped complete a $120 million comprehensive campaign. She holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.S. from Texas A&M University, Commerce, both in English. She and her husband, Leonard Van Gendt, live in Georgetown.
