Chelsea Marshall graduated from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2009. Her studies led her to Madrid, Spain for a summer session and Muscat, Oman as a Gilman Scholar. Chelsea is now the Program Coordinator for the International Visitor Program and International Education Program at the World Affairs Council of Dallas/ Fort Worth. She helps provide a global perspective for teachers and students in North Texas through workshops, speaker programs, and cultural events.  In addition to education activities, Chelsea assists in administering the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), one of the premier professional exchange programs of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Prior to joining the Council’s staff in May 2011, Chelsea served as an intern in the International Education Program and as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with the Tarrant Literacy Coalition in Fort Worth.
