Pirate Bike Fundraising
In the fall of 2009, over 200 members of the SU community supported the Pirate Bike program with donations.

Thanks to the generosity of 190 students and 51 faculty & staff members, a total of $1,718.49 was contributed toward the maintenance of the Pirate Bikes. Students alone raised almost $900 of that total. Supporters received a student designted t-shirt as a thank you from Student Foundation and the Student Philanthropy Council.
The Southwestern campus wouldn’t be the same without these beloved bikes, so please know how much your participation is appreciated. This effort not only provided much needed dollars, but also helped demonstrate to alumni how important the program is to everyone on campus.
