Southwestern hosted respected scholar and current New Yorker magazine poetry editor Kevin Young as the guest speaker for the 2023 Roy and Margaret Shilling Lecture, “The History of Poetry & The Poetry of History.” Following the lecture, special guests were invited to join President Trombley for the President’s Appreciation Celebration.
