Southwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the emergency care for student-athletes, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, medical documentation, insurance, budgeting, inventory management, etc.  Experience with intercollegiate athletics is preferred.  This is a 10-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits.

 A master’s degree and NATA-BOC certification are required.  The candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain a current license from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers.  The successful candidate is expected to comply with departmental guidelines set forth by Southwestern University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the NCAA Division III.
