Southwestern University has an immediate opening for a Part-Time On-Call Switchboard Operator.  This position would be on an as needed basis, primarily for weekend shifts, including nights, with the possibility of weekday shifts.

Duties include:  answering the University’s main phone number, monitoring fire and burglar alarms systems, general office duties and other duties as assigned.  Applicants should have a High school diploma or GED; a clear and pleasant telephone voice; ability to manage simultaneous tasks; attention to detail and neatness in order to maintain call and dispatch logs.  Prior switchboard experience is desired.  Training will be provided.
