Associate Athletic Trainer

Southwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Associate Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the emergency care for student-athletes, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, medical documentation, insurance, budgeting, inventory management, etc. This individual may also teach in the Exercise and Sport Studies (ESS) program. This is a 10-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits.
A master’s degree, previous collegiate experience as a certified athletic trainer and NATA-BOC certification are required. The candidate must also possess a current license from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers. The successful candidate is expected to comply with departmental guidelines set forth by Southwestern University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the NCAA Division III.
