Austin takes the top honor for the second year in a row in the US News & World Report’s “Best Place to Live in the U.S.” ranking.

We couldn’t agree more. New residences are attracted to the Austin area for its eclectic arts and music scene, BBQ, outdoor activities, diversity and the city’s growing reputation as a hotbed for tech startups and entrepreneurs.

Southwestern, located in Georgetown, Texas just 30 minutes north of Austin, provides the best of both worlds: a buzzing campus in a picturesque town with convenient access to all the city of Austin has to offer. Georgetown’s square was recently voted the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas, plus the city center is within walking distance of campus, as are beautiful (and safe) walking trails along the San Gabriel River.
