Taylor comes to Southwestern from Nacogdoches, Texas. She has been a member of the Varsity Swim Team, Women’s Panhellenic Council, Student Government Association, and Zeta Tau Alpha.  “Being involved at Southwestern has truly made my experience one-of-a-kind and I am so thankful for all of the wonderful people I have encountered. I was always fairly involved in high school because I am one who needs to stay busy or my mind will begin to wander too much. I felt that I wanted to maintain that structure throughout my college career as well. I also found that, by being involved and having leadership positions, my interpersonal skills as well as time management skills improved significantly. By being involved at Southwestern, I have had the opportunity to interact with so many of my fellow Southwestern peers who I may have otherwise never had the chance to meet. This feeling of being able to meet with and feel comfortable holding a conversation with the majority of my fellow students is such an empowering and precious feeling. Student Activities makes being involved much easier and much less stressful because so many resources are readily available to you.”
