Communication Studies major Taylor Lewis (’18) is currently a Research Associate in Washington D.C. with the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA) and has recently published a critical think piece on President Trump’s impact on the United States and Latin American relations. The COHA is a not for profit, non-partisan think tank providing research in the field of U.S., Latin American, and Canadian relations. As a Research Associate, Lewis collaborates with four other interns to publish analyses about current political issues in Latin America. In this role he is gaining experience in political, economic, and trade issues including media commentary, authoring diplomatic and military policy, social justice activism, and publishing on western hemispheric issues. COHA provides one of the most competitive internship programs in Washington D.C. and seeks only highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students.
