Southwestern University is one of the nation’s best colleges for students seeking a superb education with great career preparation at an affordable price, according to The Princeton Review.

“Southwestern prepares our students for lives of making meaning and making connections,” says President Edward Burger. “It is at the very core of what the University has represented for 176 years and the fact that our graduates go on to careers that are both personally and professionally rewarding is something we have known for a long time.”

The education services company features the school in its 2017 edition of Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck. Colleges are chosen based on data collected from fall 2015 through fall 2016 via our institutional and student surveys and from PayScale.com on alumni career and salary statistics. They weighted more than 40 data points covering academics, costs, financial aid, debt, grad rates, and career/salary data.

“The colleges we have identified offer superb value,” said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review’s editor-in-chief. “Students at these colleges have access to extraordinary career services programs from their freshman year on, plus a lifetime of alumni connections and post-grad support.”

The company also posted profiles of the schools featured in the book, as well as the book’s seven categories of ranking lists on its website at http://www.princetonreview.com/colleges-pay-you-back.

Southwestern University is also on the book’s lists: The Best 381 Colleges, Best Western, Green Colleges, Best Career Services and Impact Schools.
