Maggie, one of the certified therapy dogs who visits the library each Wednesday. The group, Therapy Dogs of Georgetown, will visit the Southwestern University campus every Wednesday this semester (weather permitting).

The mission of Therapy Dogs of Georgetown (t.dog) is to touch the lives of people in the Georgetown, TX community by providing Pet Partners Therapy Teams and education on the human-animal bond.  These trained dogs and their compassionate owners volunteer their time each week to give SU students (and faculty and staff!) a chance to decompress and de-stress by interacting with some really lovely canines.

This is the third year the group has volunteered on campus, gaining more popularity as time goes on.

This program is sponsored by the library in support of the well being of the SU community.
