A new security system will enable floors to be secured when they are not in use but still enable access to other floors.

Jan. 4, 2012 - Tony Brady, a construction superintendent for Burt Watts, shows a board bearing the signature of a man who worked on the Cullen Building in 1899. The board was found when renovations began on the second floor of the building.

June 2011 - Windows on the east side of the building are removed and boarded up.

June 2011 - Workers from T5 Construction begin removing all the windows. The replacement windows are expected to arrive in July.
January 2011 - The renovation begins with the removal of one of the old windows and the installation of a sample replacement window.
March 10, 2011 - Adam Alsobrook from the Texas Historical Commission visits campus to approve the proposed replacement windows.
