Southwestern University’s Sarofim School of Fine Arts Music Department is excited to have HUB New Music join us in the Alma Thomas Theater.

HUB New Music is a quartet made up of Michael Avitabile (flute), David Dziardziel (clarinet), Zenas Hsu (violin), and Jesse Christeson (cello), best known for effortlessly maneuvering challenging pieces while exploring collaborative, contemporary music. In 2016 the talented ensemble was named one of “10 Cutting-Edge Ensembles That Have Captured the Imagination” by WQR’s Q2 Music. Each member of HUB New Music is also a music educator, and the group is passionate about influencing the next generation of great musicians and artists across the country with a focus on artist entrepreneurship. Their 2017/2018 season featured performances at the Tribeca New Music Festival, the Cutting Edge Concerts New Music Festival in NYC, and the Versipel Guest Artist Series in New Orleans.

This event is free and open to the Public.
