The program will include works by Joseph Jongen, Gustav Mahler, Jean-Michel DeFaye, Croce-Spinelli, and Arthur Pryor.

Boston Symphony Orchestra trombonist Stephen Lange is a graduate of Indiana University and The Juilliard School He is a native of Dallas, Texas and has performed with the San Antonio Symphony, the New York Philharmonic, and the Kennedy Opera House Orchestra. He helped found the Saint Louis Symphony and was the assistant principal trombone chair from 2000 to 2010. 


Chuck Dillard is a faculty member at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music. Specializing in brass repertoire and vocal music, he has recently performed with the NY Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Concertgebouw, and Austin Lyric Opera. As an opera pianist, he collaborated on a live recording of Nixon in China released in 2010 with the Colorado Symphony. He also coaches and performs for Austin Lyric Opera’s Advanced Vocal Workshop and the Butler Opera Center Young Artist Program. Dr. Dillard has a doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a master’s from the University of Maryland, College Park.
