Join us for an evening with guest artist Althea Waites.

Internationally acclaimed pianist Althea Waites will be performing a recital celebrating the works of African-American composer Margaret Bonds, alongside those of Mozart and Schubert. A celebration of diversity, showcasing the brilliance of African-American composers and the enduring power of classical music.

Ms. Waites has performed extensively worldwide and has been praised by the Los Angeles Times for her “superb technique and profound musicality.” She has been a frequent guest at numerous festivals, including Aspen, the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, the Idyllwild Arts Festival in Southern California, and the National Arts Festival at Makhanda on the Eastern Cape of South Africa. She champions new music by American composers and is a Yamaha artist.
