The Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Center and the Diversity Enrichment Committee present the inaugural Student Diversity Impact Award.
The recipient of the Student Diversity Impact Award sets an example of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to the Southwestern community. The recipient strives to elevate the voices of underrepresented populations of historically marginalized individuals and cultivate a community of belonging.
Nomination includes:
Describe how the nominee has exemplified diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity through community engagement and involvement (DIBE). Please provide specific examples (up to 300 words).
Thoroughly explain what makes the nominee an ideal recipient for the Diversity Impact Award (up to 150 words).
