Explore the rewarding work and diverse roles of public health. In this session hear from the Texas Department of State Health Services about many options for internships and employment.
Staff from DSHS will provide an overview of the state agency for public health,
different jobs in public health, its early-career programs and the full-time job
application process.
Come chat with the DSHS’ Education Programs Manager about early career
opportunities at the state’s public health agency. DSHS employs more than 3,500
staff across the state of Texas. Jobs exist in a wide variety of areas from labs to data science to health education to finance.
