ABOUT THE EVENT
The Andrew Webb Men’s Lacrosse Alumni Game is held annually to celebrate the sport’s history at Southwestern University.
WHERE TO MEET: The game will be played on the Soccer/Lacrosse Field (#47 on the campus map).
WHAT TO BRING: Players, please bring your own equipment and some to share.
WHO’S INVITED: Lacrosse alumni (including the Club Team), parents of current players and your families. Please RSVP so we know how many people to prepare food and drinks for. (See “Registration” below.)
AFTER THE GAME: Per our tradition, a barbecue will follow the game at the home of Bill ’92 and Christine Kettle Bowman ’93 (map and directions from Southwestern).
ABOUT ANDREW “WEBBY” WEBB
Andrew Webb ’09 succumbed to brain cancer in early January 2014. For those of us who knew “Webby,” he was larger than life; the definition of what it means to be a true Southwestern Lacrosse player. He lived every day like it was going to be his last, inspiring and influencing those he knew. To honor Andrew and his family, we have renamed the annual alumni game.
