Southwestern University’s Sarofim School of Fine Arts hosts an instrument sale through the Rockley Family Foundation

January 6th–8th, 2022

Are you looking for a piano or orchestra string instrument? Would you like to support Southwestern University through your purchase? You can do so by attending the Rockley Family Foundation Instrument sale this January.

The Rockley Family Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded to help promote music education. The foundation raises money for music scholarships and donates musical instruments to schools to support the music educational community.

Since 2017, Southwestern University has received the use of new first-class pianos for the academic years and resources for the Music Department through a generous gift from the Rockley Family Foundation. As part of the partnership, pianos, digital pianos, and orchestral strings will be available for public purchase January 6-8, 2022 in the Alma Thomas Fine Arts Center. This event will feature instruments from Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Stravari Fine Violins, a
discrete selection of vintage Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to play. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site and, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase could be considered as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.*
