Blithe earned her BS in chemistry from SU in 2005 and her PhD in physical chemistry at the University of Southern California. She also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University. Using her transferable technical skills, Blithe transitioned into software engineering and engineering management, working at several companies before becoming a Googler in the Bay Area.
