The Sarofim School of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the concert of guest percussionist Jordan Walsh, titled “Syllables and Circuits.”

Jordan Walsh is a percussionist, audio engineer, and educator based in Austin, Texas who strives to perform the most absurd music with the most genuine fervor. He commissions new works for electronic and theatrical percussion and frequently works with composers including Akshaya Tucker, Jose Martinez, and Jacob Rogers. He is Co-Artistic Director of Up/Down Percussion, Principal Percussionist of Density512, and is frequently presented as a soloist, with recent appearances at the Church of the Friendly Ghost, Density 512’s Soloist Series, and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.

Join us for Mr. Walsh’s concert, which will feature his original work as well as works by James Parker, Brian Ellis, Caleb Evans, Georges Aperghis, Jonathan Andrew Smith, and Jacob T.V.
