Dr. Kristyn Echterling-Savage, Ph.D., Certified Applied Animal Behaviorist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, is the co-founder, CEO and researcher for Beyond the Dog, LLC, a training company focused on implementing a science-based approach to effective and ethical behavioral change for pets and their owners!
Dr. Savage, who obtained her doctoral degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2011, will discuss her utilization of behavioral psychology in the development of treatment protocols for problem animal behaviors. She will review several case studies and discuss how a background in science helps in the design and implementation of successful training programs.
Following the presentation, interested individuals are invited to remain for a Q&A session to learn more about opportunities in the field of animal behavior and training.
