The Music Department is delighted to announce a concert with guest artists, Jay Carter (countertenor) and Keith Weber (piano), as part of the Sarofim Music Series season.

For one night only, Countertenor Jay Carter and pianist Keith Weber will perform a world-class concert titled “Sacred and Profane: Faith, Love, Death, and, Taxes.” The program will feature the works of Handel, Mozart, Bach, Schumann, Hahn, and more!

Known for his elegant interpretations and brilliant tone, Jay Carter is a respected leading interpreter of late Baroque repertoire. He has collaborated with both period and modern ensembles and has regularly performed with renowned conductors such as John Butt, Matthew Halls, Ton Koopman, John Scott, and Nicholas McGegan. GRAMMY-nominated producer Keith Weber is a highly-skilled music director, choral clinician, pianist, organist, collaborator, vocal and career coach for a variety of acclaimed musicians. Among the many impactful positions he has held in his career, he is currently the Artistic Director at Grace Song, Inc., a Texas organization that promotes new music, produces vocal chamber concerts, and aids rising young musicians in forging their paths.
