The Music Department is excited to announce a concert with guest violinist, Alina Bobialka, and faculty pianist, Kiyoshi Tamagawa, as part of the Sarofim Music Series season.

Alina Kobialka has earned accolades as an illustrious young violinist, receiving praise from the San Francisco Classical Voice as a “jaw-droppingly assured” artist who “made present and future converge.” At age thirteen she won the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Concerto Competition, and in 2017 she claimed second place at the Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition as the youngest competitor. Appearing in her first orchestral solo at ten years old, Ms. Kobialka has gone on to perform with reputable international orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Macau Youth Symphony, and the California Symphony.
