The Sarofim School of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the guest artist workshop and lecture of ceramist Jessica Kreutter.

Houston-based ceramist Jessica Kreutter creates site-specific porcelain sculptures that combine concepts of memory, fantasy, beauty and grotesqueness to evoke a space in which worlds fluidly intertwine. Her style incorporates domestic decorative elements and disrupted sutures where forms of nature, animals and objects organically collide and fuse.

Ms. Kreutter’s visit will include a workshop demonstrating her sculpting techniques, followed by a lecture discussing her experiences with work, professional opportunities and residencies in the ceramics field.
