Do you like cucumbers, guava, and tequila? Then you love bats!

Join the Houston Chapter of Southwestern University Alumni Association, the Houston Arboretum, and Dr. Cullen Geiselman for a fun and relaxed talk about these wonderful but misunderstood creatures. You’ll learn why bats are crucial for pest control, seed dispersal, and pollination. While you learn, you’ll enjoy an Italian dinner from Spaghetti Western, beer (Eureka Heights!), wine, sodas and Katz Coffee. Weather permitting, we’ll then go on a night hike to look for bats!! Wear walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Families with children over the age of eight are welcome!

After-hour events at the Arboretum normally require the purchase of a ticket, but the Houston Chapter of Southwestern University Alumni Association will cover the cost for our alumni and guests. Please register and take advantage of this exclusive opportunity!
